MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) — A Trump-less town hall Thursday in Milwaukee will feature Trump campaign surrogates. Republican U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil is set to attend the town hall event, joined by former GOP Gov. Tommy Thompson and ex-Trump administration official Monica Crowley.
The gathering, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Jan Serr Studio, aims to engage with those in southeastern Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District, which Steil has represented since 2019.
Thompson, who served as Wisconsin’s governor from 1987 to 2001, and Crowley, a conservative commentator, are expected to contribute to discussions on current political issues.
The event, open to the public, requires pre-registration.
