CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WCFW) – The Northern Wisconsin State Fair began Wednesday in Chippewa Falls.
The fair, which runs from July 12 through 16, is in its 125th year.
In addition to carnival rides, animal exhibits, agricultural displays and festival food, the fair also has a number of musical acts performing on its Leinenkugel’s Main Stage. Hairball, Justin Moore, Nelly and Styx will headline the entertainment for this year’s event.
Since last year, the fair has added five new buildings to house animal exhibits and other displays, as well as a climate-controlled meeting room. The older structures were taken down after decades of service.
Tickets for the fair are on sale now at the gate and online.
