MADISON, Wis. (Civic Media) – Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers is seeking applicants for openings on the circuit court in Dane and La Crosse counties.
The terms for the two openings would run from July 31, 2023 through July 31, 2024.
In Dane County, the opening was created when Judge Chris Taylor resign after being elected to the Court of Appeals for District IV. In La Crosse County, the spot became open when Judge Todd Bjerke retired effective at the end of July this year.
Anyone interested in applying to any of the three positions can send their application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov before 5 p.m. on May 15, 2023. An application can be found on Gov. Evers’ website. Questions about the process can call the Governor’s Office of Legal Counsel at 608-266-1212.
